What we record
When you practice speaking, Oracy records your voice for up to 60 seconds per session.
Why audio is uploaded
Your audio is securely uploaded so we can analyze your speech and provide personalized feedback on fluency, grammar, vocabulary, and related speaking skills.
Account information
If you sign in with Apple, Google, or phone, we store the identifiers needed to keep your profile, streak, and practice history. Optional profile details (name, photo, goals) are stored only if you provide them.
How long we keep it
Audio recordings and transcripts are retained for up to 90 days. You can delete your recordings or your entire account at any time in the app under Privacy & Data.
AI training
Your recordings are not used to train AI models. They are processed only to generate your personal feedback.
Your control
You can delete recordings anytime, or permanently delete your account and associated data from the Oracy app.
